Full Sail was a short-lived American vocal trio active around the mid-1970s. Although their precise origins are unclear, their music carries all the hallmarks of the California soft rock scene: smooth harmonies, acoustic guitars, mellow grooves, and tasteful jazz-pop arrangements. The group consisted of Bruce Blackman, George Weaver, and Jim Wootten—all seasoned musicians with a flair for sun-drenched melodies and rich vocal interplay. Their only album, Maiden Voyage, released on Private Stock Records in 1976, gained little attention upon release but has since achieved underground cult status among collectors and yacht rock aficionados.
