Le groupe, formé par Mark Ellerbee, Charles Short et Linda Hargrove, est principalement connu pour son album éponyme, une œuvre unique dans la scène psychédélique de l'époque. Leur style mêle folk psychédélique, orchestrations baroques et ballades mélancoliques. Linda Hargrove, qui deviendra plus tard une compositrice reconnue à Nashville, porte une voix éthérée, tandis que le groupe navigue entre mysticisme et introspection.

After All was a band from Tallahassee, Florida, that emerged in 1969 amidst the psychedelic rock movement. Composed of Mark Ellerbee, Charles Short, and Linda Hargrove, the band is best known for its eponymous album, a unique blend of psychedelic folk, baroque orchestrations, and melancholic ballads. Hargrove’s ethereal voice, combined with the band’s introspective and mystical sound, places the album among the rare gems of the psychedelic era. Linda Hargrove would later become a successful songwriter in Nashville.
