Goodbye Jumbo est le deuxième album studio de World Party, projet mené par le multi-instrumentiste britannique Karl Wallinger, ancien membre des Waterboys. Goodbye Jumbo is the sophomore album from World Party, the musical vehicle for British songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Karl Wallinger. Released in 1990, it’s praised for its melodic craft, layered production, and unabashed nods to ‘60s and ‘70s icons like The Beatles, Dylan, and The Stones. Mixing jangly guitar pop, psychedelic textures, and lyrical concerns about the environment and society, the album earned widespread critical acclaim and a Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Music Album. It remains one of the most artful British pop records of its era.
