Originaire de Los Angeles, The Glass Family fait partie de ces groupes psychédéliques méconnus de la fin des années 60. Leur unique album, Electric Band, sorti en 1968 sur Warner Bros., mêle rock garage, folk rock à la Byrds et élans psychédéliques West Coast. Avec ses guitares fuzz, ses harmonies vocales riches et ses textes à la fois rêveurs et politisés, l’album s'inscrit dans la veine contestataire de l'époque tout en gardant une fraîcheur pop très marquée. Bien que peu promu à l'époque, Electric Band a été redécouvert comme une perle underground du psyché californien.

Formed in Los Angeles, The Glass Family released their only album Electric Band in 1968 via Warner Bros. Fusing garage rock, folk rock, and psychedelic textures, the record reflects the experimental spirit of the late '60s Californian scene. With fuzzy guitar leads, lush harmonies, and counterculture-infused lyrics, Electric Band delivers a vibrant, if overlooked, snapshot of its time. Although it went largely unnoticed upon release, the album has since become a cult favorite among fans of obscure psychedelic rock.
