Released in 1973, Back Up Against The Wall is Atlanta Rhythm Section’s second album and a crucial step in their development. The band starts to form its signature sound here—more cohesive, more emotive, and with stronger compositional identity. Though not a commercial breakthrough, the album set the tone for their rise later in the decade.
