Andy Fairweather Low est un chanteur, guitariste et compositeur gallois né le 2 août 1948 à Ystrad Mynach, près de Cardiff. Il se fait d’abord connaître comme chanteur principal du groupe Amen Corner, qui enchaîne les succès à la fin des années 1960, notamment le numéro un britannique « (If Paradise Is) Half as Nice ». Après la séparation du groupe, il forme Fair Weather avant de poursuivre une carrière solo. En 1975, il publie La Booga Rooga, un album éclectique où se mêlent pop, soul, rhythm and blues et atmosphères lounge. Le single « Wide Eyed and Legless » connaît un succès notable, atteignant la sixième place des charts britanniques.

Andy Fairweather Low, born on August 2, 1948, in Ystrad Mynach, Wales, is a Welsh singer, guitarist, and songwriter. He first gained fame as the frontman of the pop group Amen Corner, best known for their UK No. 1 hit “(If Paradise Is) Half as Nice.” After the band's split, he formed Fair Weather and then launched a solo career. In 1975, he released La Booga Rooga, a genre-blending album featuring pop, R&B, and soft rock influences. The single “Wide Eyed and Legless” became a UK hit, confirming his ability to craft emotionally resonant, radio-friendly songs.
