Albert Lee est un guitariste virtuose britannique, né le 21 décembre 1943 à Leominster, dans le Herefordshire. Issu d’une famille de musiciens, il grandit à Blackheath, Londres, et commence le piano à sept ans avant de se tourner vers la guitare en 1958, influencé par Buddy Holly et Jerry Lee Lewis. Surnommé "Mr. Telecaster", Albert Lee s’impose comme l’un des meilleurs guitaristes de country rock et rockabilly. Il a collaboré avec Emmylou Harris, Eric Clapton, Joe Cocker et les Everly Brothers, et a été membre du groupe Heads Hands & Feet dans les années 1970. Sa technique fulgurante, son toucher précis et son style hybride mêlant country, rock, blues et boogie ont forgé sa légende.

Albert Lee, born December 21, 1943, in Leominster, England, is widely celebrated as one of the finest guitarists in country and rock music. Raised in a musical family in Blackheath, he shifted from piano to guitar in his teens, inspired by Buddy Holly and rock ’n’ roll. Nicknamed “Mr. Telecaster,” Lee gained renown for his lightning-fast picking and melodic inventiveness. Over the years, he has played with Emmylou Harris, Eric Clapton, the Everly Brothers, and Joe Cocker. A former member of Heads Hands & Feet, Lee stands out for his cross-genre versatility and technical mastery.
