Larkin Poe est un duo américain originaire de Géorgie, formé par les sœurs Rebecca et Megan Lovell, héritières d’une riche tradition musicale sudiste. Après avoir exploré la pop-folk dans leurs débuts, elles s’orientent vers un blues rock contemporain et rugueux, porté par la voix puissante de Rebecca et la slide guitar de Megan. Avec Venom & Faith, leur quatrième album studio sorti en 2018, elles affirment une esthétique résolument roots, fusionnant gospel, blues du Delta, rock garage et soul avec énergie et élégance. Larkin Poe is an American roots rock duo from Georgia, composed of sisters Rebecca and Megan Lovell. Initially active in folk-pop circuits, they reinvented themselves with a fierce and modern blend of blues rock. Their fourth studio album Venom & Faith, released in 2018, is a raw and self-produced record that channels Delta blues, gospel, garage rock, and soul influences. With Rebecca's gritty vocals and Megan's powerful lap steel work, the album reclaims the blues in a feminine and contemporary voice, earning widespread critical acclaim.
