Coperpenny was a little-known American band that self-released a single album in 1970, which has since become a cult item among psych-pop collectors. Their lone LP blends soft psychedelia, baroque pop, and folk-infused rock with intricate vocal harmonies and lush arrangements. The sound is reminiscent of late 60s obscurities like The Millennium or The Free Design, balancing dreamy moods with melodic songwriting. Though virtually forgotten upon release, Coperpenny has gained appreciation over time as a lost gem of the psychedelic era.
