Fondé en 1975 par Lemmy Kilmister après son éviction de Hawkwind, Motörhead incarne une fusion brutale de hard rock, de punk et de proto-metal. Though rough around the edges, Motörhead stands as a vital precursor to both speed metal and hardcore punk, launching a legacy of no-frills, high-octane rock.
