Warhorse est un groupe britannique de rock progressif et hard rock formé en 1970, issu de la scène britannique autour de Black Sabbath et Deep Purple. Mené par le bassiste Nick Simper, ancien de Deep Purple, le groupe mélange des riffs puissants, une atmosphère sombre et des influences blues-rock. Leur premier album éponyme, Warhorse, reflète un style lourd et mélodique, mêlant passages épiques et compositions énergiques. Malgré un succès commercial limité, cet album est aujourd’hui considéré comme un classique underground du hard rock britannique.

Warhorse is a British progressive and hard rock band formed in 1970, emerging from the same scene as Black Sabbath and Deep Purple. Led by bassist Nick Simper, formerly of Deep Purple, the band blends powerful riffs, a dark atmosphere, and blues-rock influences. Their debut self-titled album, Warhorse, showcases a heavy yet melodic style, combining epic passages and energetic compositions. Although commercially limited, the album is now regarded as an underground classic of British hard rock.
