Mondo Drag is a group of young Americans who settled in Oakland and who share their passion for psych rock, progressive rock and all their variants. With this magnificent opus, they clearly show their love for a musical mind, without remaining partitioned behind stylistic barriers. Fans deMagma, King Crimson and other Yes, the California Adoption give free rein to their wildest imagination and that makes a world of good to the ears! What's nice is that all this is in any case young people nostalgic navel magnet polishing the handle of their guitars, but simply a re-appropriation of a free spirit linked at one time. It's so good to taste it again!

Mondo Drag est un groupe de jeunes américains venus s'installer à Oakland et qui partagent leur passion pour les psych rock, progressive rock et toutes leurs variantes. Avec ce splendide opus, ils affichent clairement leur amour pour un esprit musical, sans pour autant rester cloisonnés derrière des barrières stylistiques. Fans deMagma, King Crimson et autre Yes, les californiens d'adoption laissent libre cours à leur imagination la plus débridée et ça fait un bien fou aux oreilles ! Ce qui fait plaisir c'est que tout ceci n'est en aucun cas du nombrilisme passéiste de jeunes gens aimant astiquer le manche de leurs guitares, mais simplement une réappropriation d'un esprit libre lié à une certaine époque. Qu'il est bon de s'y replonger !
