Originaire de Warwick (Angleterre), l’Edgar Broughton Band se forme à la fin des années 1960 autour du chanteur et guitariste Edgar Broughton, de son frère Steve à la batterie et d’Arthur Grant à la basse. Reconnus pour leurs performances live explosives et leur engagement politique, ils incarnent l’esprit rebelle du rock underground britannique. Sing Brother Sing, leur deuxième album, paraît en 1970 sur le label Harvest.
