The program for this record came out in 1968 at Vault: 7 pieces, 2 times blues and original compositions 5, 7 enchanting ums psyche for all fans! 'Quiet Before A Storm' opens the album on a throbbing organ and cymbals bearings before the rhythmic and especially the guitar, hypnotic, does packs contrasting with a 'Rainbow' insane at unstoppable riff. 'Bullfrog' recovery of a classic blues, sees the group to comment on this piece 6'30 striker as a classic blues-rock revival before an organ was full of appropriateness does not come bring a welcome counterweight to the furia guitars. Exciting. 'Love In Your Face', a kind of pop jingle passed breeder is also dominated by guitars which it seems they become more ferocious as and when the pieces are linked. 'Quiet Before A Storm' ouvre l'album sur un orgue lancinant et des roulements de cymbales avant que la rythmique et surtout la guitare, hypnotique, ne s'emballe contrastant avec un 'Rainbow' démentiel au riff imparable.
'Bullfrog', reprise d'un classique blues, voit le groupe s'exprimer sur 6'30 attaquant ce morceau comme une reprise blues-rock classique avant qu'un orgue plein d'a-propos ne vienne apporter un contrepoids bienvenu à la furia des guitares. Enthousiasmant.
'Love In Your Face', sorte de ritournelle pop passée au surgénérateur est elle aussi dominée par des guitares dont on a l'impression qu'elles deviennent plus féroces au fur et à mesure que les morceaux s'enchaînent. 'You Don't Remember' porté par un orgue doorsien apporte une touche d'originalité avant que 'It's All In My Head' (introduit par un hurlement féminin et des sirènes de police...) ne voit le groupe s'époumonner sur une rythmique assez lourde que l'on a l'habitude d'entendre à l'époque chez Black Sabbath et Blue Cheer...
L'album s'achève avec 'Blues With A Feeling' de Little Walter, longue jam d'anthologie de plus de 9'30 et où guitare, orgue et harmonica s'entrecroisent, se mêlent, rendant finalement un bien bel hommage tant aux grands noms du blues qu'aux ténors du blues boom sixties.
