Birtha was an all-female Californian rock band formed in the late 1960s. The quartet delivered a strong blend of hard rock, soul, and blues. Following a well-received debut album in 1972, Can't Stop The Madness was released later the following year, showcasing their powerful energy and musical skills. Although critically praised, the band didn’t achieve major commercial success and disbanded shortly after. Today, Birtha is recognized as a pioneering act in the history of women in rock.
