Birtha was one of the few all-female bands (with Fanny and Deadly Nightshade) to emerge in the rock scene of the early 1970s. While the other two groups certainly offer strengths in their repertoire, it is clear to listen to this album that Birtha was above the lot. powerful voice a little dirty, bluesy guitars at will, why the hell this group did not he bored? . Birtha était l'un des rares groupes exclusivement féminin (avec Fanny et Deadly Nightshade ) à émerger dans la scène rock du début des années 1970 . Alors que les deux autres groupes offrent certainement des points forts dans leur répertoire, il est clair à l'écoute de cet album que Birtha était au-dessus du lot. Voix puissante un peu sale, guitares bluesy à souhait, pourquoi diable ce groupe n'a t-il pas percés ? . Quelque part entre le style de Heart et le grain terreux d'un truck-house band , Birtha est aux aguets pour vous convertir à leurs caprices rusés.
