Formé en 1968 à Londres, Killing Floor est un groupe britannique de blues-rock psychédélique, fortement influencé par les pionniers du British Blues Boom. Leur premier album éponyme, enregistré alors que les membres étaient à peine majeurs, propose un mélange brut de blues électrique et de rock psychédélique, avec des riffs acérés, des solos fiévreux et une énergie presque garage. Malgré une carrière confidentielle, Killing Floor reste aujourd’hui un témoignage authentique de l’effervescence blues-rock de la fin des sixties.

Formed in 1968 in London, Killing Floor was part of the British blues-rock psychedelic scene, heavily inspired by the British Blues Boom pioneers. Their self-titled debut album, recorded when the members were barely out of their teens, delivers a raw mix of electric blues and psychedelic rock, featuring sharp riffs, fiery solos, and garage-like energy. Although short-lived, Killing Floor stands today as an authentic document of the late '60s blues-rock explosion.
