The Open Mind was a British psychedelic band formed in London in the late 1960s. The lineup included Mike Brancaccio (vocals, rhythm guitar), Terry Schindler (lead guitar), Tim du Feu (bass), and Phil Fox (drums). Known in the London underground scene for their energetic performances, the group’s only LP, The Open Mind (1969), released on Philips, has become a cult classic of British psychedelia. It blends hard psych with early progressive elements, featuring raw guitar work, trippy melodies, and inventive arrangements.
