Originaire de Glasgow, Cartoone sort en 1969 son unique album éponyme sur le label Atlantic Records. Produit à Londres et enregistré avec la participation de Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin) à la guitare sur plusieurs titres, l’album propose un mélange de pop psychédélique, de rock et de folk, avec des harmonies vocales soignées et des arrangements riches. Hailing from Glasgow, Cartoone released their sole, self-titled album in 1969 on Atlantic Records. Produced in London and featuring Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin) on guitar for several tracks, the record blends psychedelic pop, rock, and folk with lush arrangements and refined vocal harmonies. Although critically appreciated, Cartoone failed to achieve commercial success, later becoming a coveted collector’s item for late-60s British rock enthusiasts.
