Formé à Londres au tournant des années 1970, Hokus Poke est un power trio qui n’aura laissé qu’un seul album, Earth Harmony, publié en 1971 sur le label Regal Zonophone. Leur musique fusionne hard rock, boogie, blues et quelques accents psychédéliques, dans une veine proche de Cream ou Ten Years After. Ce disque confidentiel, resté longtemps introuvable, impressionne par sa puissance brute, ses improvisations fiévreuses et l’efficacité rythmique du trio. Une pépite du rock underground britannique.

Hailing from London in the early '70s, Hokus Poke was a short-lived power trio whose sole album Earth Harmony(1971, Regal Zonophone) fuses hard rock, blues, boogie, and hints of psychedelia. Reminiscent of Cream or Ten Years After, the record delivers gritty vocals, muscular riffs, and extended jams. Despite its obscurity, Earth Harmony has since gained cult status among collectors of early British underground rock.
