Formed by former Mainline members, Canadian band Blackstone released only one album: On The Line (1973). Mixing blues rock, soul, and southern rock influences, the record captures the heat of smoky bars and the spirit of dusty highways. Though it remained under the radar, the album stands out for its raw authenticity, Joey Roberts' soulful voice, and punchy horn-driven arrangements.
