Best known as the charismatic lead singer of mod legends The Action, Reg King released his one and only solo album in 1971. Backed by former bandmates and members of B.B. Blunder and Mighty Baby, the album mixes British blue-eyed soul, psychedelia, and progressive rock with emotional intensity and adventurous production. Despite being overlooked at the time, Reg King has since gained cult status for its heartfelt songwriting and unique blend of styles, showcasing the full emotional and creative range of a gifted but underappreciated artist.
