Hailing from Philadelphia, Good God was a short-lived jazz-rock fusion band formed in the early 1970s, centered around keyboardist Tracy Stark. Their self-titled 1972 debut on Atlantic Records blends electric jazz, psychedelic rock, and adventurous improvisation, echoing the styles of Mahavishnu Orchestra and Soft Machine. Though overlooked upon release, Good God has since earned recognition for its bold musicianship and genre-defying spirit.
