Wildfire est un power trio texan éphémère mais culte, formé à la fin des années 60 autour de Randy Love (cousin de Mike Love des Beach Boys). Leur unique album, Smokin', enregistré en 1970 et initialement publié en toute confidentialité, est aujourd’hui considéré comme un classique du hard rock underground. Wildfire was a short-lived Texas-based power trio formed in the late 1960s, led by Randy Love, cousin of Beach Boys’ Mike Love. Their sole album, Smokin', released in 1970 with minimal promotion, has since gained cult status. Fusing hard rock energy with psychedelic flair, Wildfire delivered raw guitar-driven performances and bluesy vocals that echo the untamed spirit of early 70s rock. Though their time was brief, the band’s legacy endures among connoisseurs of underground classics.
