Hackensack was a British hard rock/blues rock band active during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Nicky Moore, the band became known for their fiery live shows and gritty sound. Although they never achieved commercial success, their recordings from 1969 to 1972—compiled in Give It Some—showcase a raw, dynamic blend of heavy riffs, soulful vocals, and proto-metal intensity that placed them among the hidden treasures of the UK underground rock scene.
