Fondé à Hanovre en 1970, Jane est l’un des groupes majeurs du krautrock allemand. Avec Sign No. 9, sorti en 1979, le groupe adopte un son plus hard rock et accessible, tout en conservant des éléments progressifs. Formed in Hanover in 1970, Jane is one of the leading bands of the German krautrock scene. With Sign No. 9, released in 1979, the band leaned towards a more accessible hard rock sound while retaining progressive elements. Melodic guitars, atmospheric keyboards, and gritty vocals create a blend of power and ambiance. The album reflects the musical shift in late-70s Germany, merging psychedelia with more mainstream rock influences.
