Sorti en 1973 sur le label RCA, Rainbow Rider est l’unique album du groupe américain Brothers, formation éphémère mais talentueuse qui s’inscrit dans la mouvance West Coast, soft rock et soul blanche typique du début des années 70. L’album allie harmonies vocales raffinées, groove feutré et instrumentation élégante (guitare slide, orgue Hammond, cuivres discrets). Released in 1973 by RCA, Rainbow Rider is the sole album by the short-lived American band Brothers. The record blends smooth West Coast vibes, blue-eyed soul, and lightly funky rhythms with lush vocal harmonies and laid-back instrumentation. Drawing comparisons to early Doobie Brothers or Boz Scaggs, the album maintains a sunny, warm feel throughout. Though it went largely unnoticed at the time, Rainbow Rider has since become a hidden gem for collectors and fans of soft rock and mellow grooves from the early '70s.
