L’album mêle énergie hard rock et influences boogie-blues, dans une veine plus maîtrisée, annonçant déjà la fin proche du groupe originel. C’est leur dernier album studio avant la séparation de 1974.

Released in 1972, Rock & Roll Music to the World is Ten Years After’s eighth studio album. The record finds the band combining hard rock intensity with bluesy roots, led by Alvin Lee’s signature guitar work. It is more polished and accessible than some earlier albums, and would become the band’s last studio effort before their initial breakup in 1974.
