Californian psychedelic pop rock band in middle sixties. First Poets then transiting with the Dumplings, they finished into the hands of the label Del-Fi Records producer Bob Keane, who famously managed Ritchie Valens, launched the Sam Cooke career and occasionally worked with Frank Zappa. Deaf Priscilla is a great mix of psychedelia and West Coast to the English who finally finds an audience, over three decades later. David Ferguson, Charlie Hendricks, Clint Williams, Jim Boutell and Leo Hartshorn, influenced by the British Invasion, deliver us a clean job of interest, in a beautiful psych mind and indicate a good potential: competent guitars, rhythmic sound , nice vocal harmonies. The melodies take their place, the texts signed Ferguson Hendricks and cover bleak topics.

Deaf Priscilla est un excellent mix de West Coast et de psychédélisme à l'anglaise qui trouve enfin un public à sa main, plus de trois décennies plus tard. David Ferguson, Charlie Hendricks, Clint Williams, Jim Boutell et Leo Hartshorn, influencés par la British Invasion, nous livrent un travail propre, digne d'intérêt, dans un bel esprit psych et dénotent d'un beau potentiel : guitares compétentes, rythmique solide, harmonies vocales sympas. Les mélodies tiennent leur rang, les textes signés Hendricks et Ferguson traitent de sujets plutôt sombres.
