Released in 1972, Thanks For Nothin’ is the sole album by New York-based group White Cloud, led by composer and keyboardist Teddy Wender. The record blends soft rock, folk, and pop with elegant arrangements, including keyboards, acoustic guitars, and subtle brass. A young Michael McDonald (later of the Doobie Brothers) contributes backing vocals. The album stands out for its melodic finesse and gentle atmosphere but remains a hidden gem for most listeners.
