Gator Creek was an American soft rock studio project formed around keyboardist and producer Michael Omartian at the start of his prolific career. Their 1970 self-titled album is especially notable for featuring the first version of "I've Got a Name", later made famous by Jim Croce. The record blends pop, soft rock, and jazzy influences, delivered with polished production and skilled studio musicians.
