Après le décès de Paul Kossoff, le groupe Back Street Crawler poursuit sa route sous le nom raccourci de Crawler. Snake, Rattle And Roll, leur deuxième et dernier album, voit le groupe affirmer un hard rock teinté de soul et de blues, avec une production plus musclée et une direction plus américaine. La voix puissante de Terry Wilson-Slesser et les guitares ciselées de Geoff Whitehorn s’imposent comme les nouveaux piliers du son du groupe.

Following Paul Kossoff’s death, Back Street Crawler continued under the shorter name Crawler. Snake, Rattle And Roll, their second and final album, presents a harder-edged sound infused with blues and soul, with a slicker, more American-style production. Terry Wilson-Slesser’s powerful vocals and Geoff Whitehorn’s sharp guitar work become the driving forces of the band’s new identity.
