Formed in Chicago, The Siegel-Schwall Band rose to prominence during the American blues revival of the 1960s and 70s. Fronted by harmonica player and vocalist Corky Siegel and guitarist Jim Schwall, the band fused electric blues with folk and occasional psychedelic flourishes. R.I.P. Siegel/Schwall, released in 1974, was their final album before disbanding. Capturing a raw and heartfelt sound, it combines studio recordings and live cuts, delivering a powerful farewell from a group that never strayed far from its blues roots.
