Released on October 3, 2000, Sibling Rivalry is the twelfth studio album by the Doobie Brothers, marking their return to the studio after a nine-year hiatus since Brotherhood (1991). This album is notable for featuring lead vocals by John McFee and Keith Knudsen, both of whom rejoined the band in 1993 after an eleven-year absence.

The album combines internal compositions and collaborations with external songwriters, such as Jerry Lynn Williams and Jim Peterik. Although Sibling Rivalry did not achieve significant commercial success, it represents the band's effort to reconnect with their classic sound while exploring new musical directions.
