Released in 1987, Let Me Up (I've Had Enough) marked a return to a more spontaneous, stripped-down rock sound for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Recorded quickly with minimal overdubs, the album feels raw and urgent. It includes the hit “Jammin’ Me,” co-written with Bob Dylan, and explores both driving rockers and reflective ballads. This album would be the band’s last before Petty’s breakout solo success with Full Moon Fever.
