Originaire du Michigan, Bump est un groupe éphémère de rock progressif psychédélique qui n’a laissé qu’un seul album, enregistré en 1970. Très influencé par Procol Harum et les premiers Pink Floyd, le groupe propose une musique rêveuse et planante, dominée par l’orgue Hammond et les envolées mélodiques. Bien que peu connu à sa sortie, Bump a gagné en notoriété au fil du temps, grâce aux collectionneurs et amateurs de rock progressif obscur.
