Formé en 1971 à Sydney, Buffalo est l'un des pionniers du hard rock australien. Leur premier album, Dead Forever…, sort en juin 1972 via Vertigo, produit par Spencer Lee . Avec deux chanteurs, Dave Tice et Alan Milano, et une combinaison de riffs lourds, blues psyché et agressivité Sabbathienne, Buffalo pose les bases d’un style massif qui influencera profondément la scène rock australienne .

Buffalo formed in Sydney in 1971 and released Dead Forever… in June 1972 on Vertigo. Produced by Spencer Lee, the album featured co-vocalists Dave Tice and Alan Milano. Its heavy, blues-infused psych-rock sound with Sabbath-like riffs laid the groundwork for Australian heavy music .
