Après le succès de Ahead Rings Out, Blodwyn Pig revient en 1970 avec Getting to This, consolidant leur mélange original de blues-rock et de jazz-rock progressif. Following the success of Ahead Rings Out, Blodwyn Pig returned in 1970 with Getting to This, further refining their unique blend of blues-rock and progressive jazz-rock. The album shows a wider stylistic variety, with folk influences, inventive instrumentals, and the continued virtuosity of Mick Abrahams and Jack Lancaster. This sophomore release cemented the band’s place in the late 60s British underground scene.
