Blackwater Park was a German hard rock and progressive rock band active in the early 1970s. Though relatively unknown at the time, their sole album Dirt Box has since gained cult status among underground rock enthusiasts. Combining heavy riffs, psychedelic influences and progressive passages, the album showcases the emerging European hard rock scene of the era.
