Euclid, originaire de New England (États-Unis), est un quartet formé en 1970 par les frères Gary (chant, guitare) et Jay Leavitt (batterie), le guitariste Ralph Mazzota, et le bassiste Harold Perino Jr. Issu de formations garage/psych comme The Cobras et Lazy Smoke, ils signent sur la filiale Amsterdam (Flying Dutchman) et sortent Heavy Equipment. Euclid emerged in 1970 from New England, USA, founded by Gary and Jay Leavitt, Ralph Mazzota, and Harold Perino Jr., veterans of garage and psychedelic bands. Signed to Amsterdam (Flying Dutchman), they released Heavy Equipment, a bold mix of heavy psych and raw hard rock. With pounding riffs, vocal harmonies, and avant-garde production techniques, the album captures a transitional energy between late-60s psychedelia and early-70s hard rock.
