Released in April 1972, Comin' Thru is the seventh studio album by American psychedelic rock band Quicksilver Messenger Service. The album is notable for the debut of a horn section, a first for the band. Chuck Steaks replaced Mark Naftalin on keyboards, and Dino Valenti's compositions continued to dominate, as they had on the previous three albums.Despite these changes, the album is generally regarded as one of the band's weakest efforts, peaking at only number 134 on the Billboard 200, which contributed to Quicksilver becoming more of a part-time band.
