Premier album sous le nom de Geyster, I Love 1984 est un projet lancé par le multi-instrumentiste parisien Gaël Benyamin, en collaboration avec Pernilla Grönlund et le producteur Joachim Garraud, sorti en mai 2004 sous le label Virgin/Somekind Records. Le single phare « Bye Bye Superman » a connu un succès notable en Europe l’été 2003. I Love 1984 is the debut album by Geyster, the solo project of French musician Gaël Benyamin, co-produced with Pernilla Grönlund and Joachim Garraud, and released in May 2004 via Virgin/Somekind Records. Featuring the summer hit “Bye Bye Superman” (2003), the album blends French Touch electro-pop, soft rock melodies, and vintage synth-driven soundscapes.
