Released in 1973, Nice & Greasy continues Atomic Rooster's soul-funk exploration started on the previous album. With Vincent Crane as the sole remaining founding member, the band pushes towards an even groovier and more experimental sound, blending rock, blues, and rhythm & blues. Less dark than their earlier progressive works, the album charms with its rhythmic diversity and occasional psychedelic touches.
