David Edward Sutch, better known as Screaming Lord Sutch, was a flamboyant British rock personality and political prankster. His 1970 album Lord Sutch and Heavy Friends brought together rock legends like Jimmy Page, John Bonham, Jeff Beck, Nicky Hopkins, and Noel Redding. Though critically panned upon release for its chaotic sound and rough vocals, the album has gained cult status over time. It stands as a fascinating and bizarre snapshot of late-60s rock culture, mixing early rock 'n' roll aesthetics with heavy blues and psychedelic tones.
