Gun est un groupe britannique de rock psychédélique et hard rock formé à Londres en 1967 par les frères Paul et Adrian Gurvitz. Initialement appelé The Knack, le groupe adopte rapidement le nom de Gun et enregistre son premier album éponyme en 1968 pour le label CBS. Porté par leur tube "Race with the Devil", qui connaîtra un grand succès en Europe, l'album est salué pour sa fusion audacieuse de rock psychédélique, de pop orchestrale et d’éléments proto-hard rock. Bien que le groupe ne reste actif que quelques années, son influence est palpable dans l’émergence du hard rock britannique des années 1970.

Gun was a British psychedelic and hard rock band formed in London in 1967 by brothers Paul and Adrian Gurvitz. Originally named The Knack, they soon became Gun and released their self-titled debut album in 1968 on the CBS label. Powered by the hit single "Race with the Devil", the album gained attention for its bold mix of psychedelic rock, orchestral pop, and early hard rock elements. Though the band had a brief career, their sound foreshadowed the heavier rock movements of the 1970s.
