Groupe américain éphémère et méconnu, Chariot livre en 1971 un unique album de rock psychédélique aux teintes blues et hard rock. La formation, emmenée par la voix puissante de Tony Brown, propose un son énergique et brut, ponctué de longues envolées instrumentales et d’influences heavy typiques de l’époque. Enregistré pour le label Mike Curb Productions, ce disque aujourd’hui introuvable est devenu culte parmi les amateurs de raretés rock des seventies.

Chariot was a short-lived American band that released their sole self-titled album in 1971. Their music fuses bluesy hard rock and psych-driven jams, led by Tony Brown’s raw vocals and gritty guitar work. With long instrumental passages and an unpolished edge, Chariot fits perfectly into the early '70s underground rock aesthetic. Released on the obscure Mike Curb Productions label, the album has since become a collector’s item.
