Released in 1974, Peace on You is Roger McGuinn’s second solo album following the final breakup of The Byrds. It continues in the folk-rock vein of his debut but adopts a smoother, more radio-friendly production typical of mid-'70s soft rock. While lacking the boldness of his earlier work, the album includes fine moments like the title track and “Without You,” showcasing McGuinn’s distinctive vocals and 12-string guitar. A mellow, reflective record that straddles the line between artistic introspection and mainstream appeal.
