Mr. Albert Show est un groupe néerlandais de rock psychédélique et progressif formé à Eindhoven à la fin des années 1960. Souvent surnommés les "Pink Floyd hollandais", ils mêlent guitares fuzz, claviers psychés, cuivres puissants et improvisations libres. Leur premier album éponyme, sorti en 1970 chez Philips Records, est un concentré de rock progressif teinté de soul, de jazz et de psychédélisme. Le groupe se distingue par l’énergie de ses prestations scéniques et une formation incluant des cuivres, peu courante dans le rock de l’époque. Bien que leur carrière ait été brève, Mr. Albert Show a marqué la scène underground européenne et reste une référence du rock psyché néerlandais.

Biography (English)
Mr. Albert Show was a Dutch psychedelic and progressive rock band formed in Eindhoven in the late 1960s. Often dubbed the "Dutch Pink Floyd," they fused fuzzy guitars, psychedelic organs, jazzy brass, and free-form improvisations. Their self-titled debut, released in 1970 by Philips Records, showcases a rich blend of prog, soul, jazz, and psychedelic rock. Known for their dynamic live performances and distinctive use of brass instruments, the band quickly earned a cult status in the European underground scene. Despite a short career, Mr. Albert Show remains a highlight of 1970s Dutch psych-rock.
