The Atlanta Rhythm Section (ARS) is an American rock band formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in the late 1960s. After years of activity and several lineup changes, ARS achieved success in the 1970s, with hits like "So Into You" and "Imaginary Lover". Underdog, their 1979 album, remains one of the band's most notable works, showcasing their signature mix of rock, country, and pop influences.
