From Austin, Texas, and Laguna Beach, California Wildfire was a trio of Randy Love (guitar and vocals), Danny Jamison (guitar, bass and vocals), and Donny Martin (drums). Their LP Smokin 'is an excellent album of psychedelic hard-rock, and one of the best all styles. Upon opening with an echo guitar intro grunt in 'Stars In The Sky' and a choir with two voices and great stereo effects through the very long 'Quicksand', this record is at the top of the pile hard- rock albums pressed on the West Coast of the United States.
