Secret Oyster is a progressive rock and jazz rock band from Denmark, active in the 1970s. Secret Oyster is a true continuation of Danish band Burnin Red Ivanhoe, Karsten Vogel, and Bøhling of Hurdy Gurdy and Knudsen of Coronarias Dans. At the end of Burnin Red Ivanhoe's career, Karsten Vogel begins to form a new band taking with him Bo Thrige Andersen the drummer and bassist Mads Vinding, often jazz partners together. Knowing guitarist Claus Bohling from the Danish circuit, he drew her into the group that took her name from Burnin Red Ivanhoe's second album titled "Secret Oysters Service".

Secret Oyster est une véritable continuation du groupe Danois Burnin Red Ivanhoe, Karsten Vogel, et Bøhling de Hurdy Gurdy et Knudsen de Coronarias Dans. À la fin de la carrière de Burnin Red Ivanhoe, Karsten Vogel commence à former un nouveau groupe en prenant avec lui Bo Thrige Andersen le batteur et le bassiste Mads Vinding, souvent partenaires de jazz ensemble. Connaissant le guitariste Claus Bohling issu du circuit Danois, il l'attire dans le groupe qui a pris son nom d'après le morceau du deuxième album de Burnin Red Ivanhoe intitulé "Secret Oysters Service".
